  • NJ RIMS Commits $100,000 to Spencer Educational Foundation

February 26, 2024 - The RIMS New Jersey chapter is proud to announce a $20,000 five-year commitment to the Spencer Educational Foundation to promote the advancement of the risk management profession in the state of New Jersey.

Eighty percent of the donation has been specifically earmarked to fund scholarships for graduate students attending a university located in or surrounding the state of New Jersey on a full-time or part-time basis, and to fund risk management course development at a New Jersey based university.

Since 1999, the New Jersey chapter has contributed more than $250,000 to the Spencer Educational Foundation, and this latest donation demonstrates a continuation of our longstanding support of Spencer, and our chapter’s ongoing commitment to the advancement of the risk management profession.
