The NJ Chapter held its monthly meeting on 3/9/10 and treated members to an interactive workshop on "Successful Communications Skills". Barbara Szala, President of In-Person Communications led the discussion and presented exercizes which highlighted these important skills. Barbara is shown here on the left, along with Alicia Cherniak who coordinated the session.

CHAPTER HOLDS SUCCESSFUL "RISK MANAGEMENT DAY
Thanks to all the speakers, exhibitors and attendees at our first Risk Management Day, held on November 10th at the Olde Mill Inn. Click here for more information about the event (including photos!) which was enjoyed by over 100 risk managers, friends and associates. The chapter sends a special thanks to Rosenberg & Parker for the Wine and Cheese reception which capped off a fabulous day. And a big thanks to Peter Caust, Chapter Treasurer, and his committee, for organizing this event.

We meet about eight times per year. At our meetings, we present, at no cost, educational programs which benefit our members by bringing up-to-the-minute information about risk management techniques, the insurance market, and other matters of concern to risk managers.
In October each year, the Chapter holds the Aram S. Papazian Memorial Golf Invitational. The proceeds from this outing support our educational programs, and also fund several scholarships which the chapter awards to Risk Management students annually. The “Golf Outing” link on the left will lead you to more information about this annual event.
