Program Description

Risk in the international supply chain is everywhere. Whether it is raw materials headed to your factory or finished goods going to your distribution center, the risk of loss or damage is always present. To succeed in the global marketplace, companies must constantly monitor risk factors that could negatively impact operations.  Topics will include:

Liability Limits in Global Logistic - Understanding liability conventions and freight forwarder responsibilities is critical to aligning your Master Service Agreements with real-world risk.

Understanding Incoterms 2020 - Who owns the risk? Reducing ambiguity and cost surprises in international procurement.

Geopolitical Risk - Assessing how political instability and trade tensions impact transportation costs, sourcing decisions, tariffs and trade routes.

Concentration of Risk -The hidden weak link in an otherwise strong supply chain.
